NCI-AD Team Presents Research at ASA's On Aging 2025 Conference
The NCI-AD team recently presented two pieces of research with partners at the On Aging 2025 conference in Orlando, Florida, organized by American Society on Aging (ASA).
On April 23rd, Senior Director Rosa Plasencia (ADvancing States) and Co-Director Stephanie Giordano (HSRI) joined Divya Venkataganesan from North Carolina's Department of Health and Human Services to present "Leveraging Lived Experience Data to Inform Multisector Plans for Aging." The session demonstrated how states can use NCI-AD data to incorporate the voices of people with lived experiences into their 10-year aging plans, enabling data-driven approaches that improve service delivery and outcomes for older adults.

The following day, Rosa Plasencia and Stephanie Giordano presented alongside Dr. Eric Jutkowitz from Brown University with "Understanding HCBS Quality from the Perspective of People with Dementia." This session examined data from recent NCI-AD Adult Consumer Surveys, exploring demographic trends and service quality experiences of Americans with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia diagnoses.
